Can we ask what your personal criticism is on the car ?

As said, my main reason I liked it was the character of the engine, and maybe the fact that I'd probably drive it less fast than the scoob because it found it pretty enjoyable even at low speeds.

Against ? It's unpractical, it's bloody expensive and I am not sure whether it's actually gonna be as satisfying to drive in my corner of the woods in winter. The scoob there really has an edge because of grip.

There is'nt a particular reason i just don't like them ...... there are 100's that do and 100's that don't, although the 997 is a vast improvement on looks then the VW BEETLE looking 993 .....
If there was anything to moan about, it would be the offset uncomfortable sitting position, travelled many motorway miles and arrived at destination with a sore back! :? which i don't even get in the MODUS.........
Apparently the LHD is a better seating position :? ...I find it hard to believe these days that they can't get the same seating alignment !!!

love em or hate em ....

Drove 348, 355 and Testarossa and the driving position was aweful. No wonder these cars only drive 2000 miles per year.

Have a friend who had a ferrari - then his mate bought a lambo, the ferrari was sold immediately, parked next to a lambo i'm afraid a ferrari just doesnt cut it. Its a bit like the boxster v 911 arguement I suppose.

Plus,

My old man had a 348 - terrible, absolutely terrible - drove it once and never asked for the keys again. Think he agreed cos he only kept it for about 10 months. The build quality was awefull, just awefull.

Having said all that the new F430 did look lovely on Top Gear the other week.

I thought there was an 'in English' button somewhere on the site.

Still, come on guys, I would have tought you would have guessed the car it was and the mileage and price, even in German.

In the end, it's not that damn difficult ! :?

- Porsche 911/993 GT2 Turbo is the same in any language.

- 73800 km is the same in any language too (approx 46000 in miles).

- EZ: 09/95 stands for first registration in September 1995

- EUR 59993 might be the price, no ?

As it says in the title, the car is in fact tuned to 500bhp. Although I'd still love one of these with the standard output. I think they're the greatest looking 911's there are.
