My brother recently sold his elise - drove it every day for 3.5 years, lives in Scotland - no problems whatsoever, fabulous car, it felt more special everytime I drove it. Really wish he had kept it

Haven't got a clue about your point here - and anyway have actually been above 60mph on the roads, but never more than 70

Anyway, back to the Lotus - car I recon.

I borrowed an 190 exige for a weekend and its a class car...

So this one must be amazing ... 12 months ago i had an elise 111r but only managed to keep it for about 6 months.. you can only use them in the dry and warm. the mpg is the dogs but they break down once a week , sometimes twice.. the toyota engines are fine but rest of it falls apart around it.

in six months - two gearboxes / three radiators and alot of headaches

if i could afford two cars this would be my 2nd ... even with all the problems.
