Gonna check with a Beemer dealer in the UK this week or next if I can try the M6 or M5 once.

I'm not convinced it's more fun really than a proper Scoob.

For the money I think there are better car options out there. Each to their own!

?

155mph restrictor ?

Not sure you wanna try 204mph, unsure the standard tyres will be suitable.

I'm more a fan of in gear acceleration. Top speed is quite academic, never use it (). I think your Evo will drive the wheels from under an M5 then.

Pick one up in Germany. 6000miles, mint, 40K GBP.

Dont worry about restrictors - easily removed

My mates SL55 AMG has had it removed (plus the 200mph clocks and the ecu trick plus the suspension + tyre upgrade) by AMG in Germany and now pulls to over 200mph - did cost him around

Not really my cup of tea - but a very good car by all accounts, gets very good write-ups in the press.

I didn't get the opportunity to drive it (yet), but got a static presentation and the build quality of the car is really impressive.

Then you see the engine, laying WAY beyond the front wheels, nearly in the centre of the car, with two long, straight air inlets going towards it. It looks a bit like a V8 laying in a powerboat. :thumb:

Who's gonna try to get a drive ?
