You live in the wrong part of the world, mate.
Most girls I know think the attitude of "the bloke needs money" is very 'out'.
That being said, the Finnish girls still like a flash car, especially if it looks like Tommi's or Petter's (not looking at money in this communist country).
North is the way to go
(when I first moved to the Uk in 97, I saw young inhabitants of your old colonies (politically correct enough?) racing down the streets of Tooting and the likes. Never even wanted to be seen in a 3 series since then !)
