Bloody awesome motor. The one thing the lotus elise and exige have always lacked (and the reason I'd never buy one - until now) is the performance of say a scoob or evo. This crazy crazy motor has 240bhp ... and it's 0-60 times are mental.

43k though so bit of a barrier there.

For the money though you are buying a car which is just as awesome on track as it is on the road. I would imagine it's virtually untouchable on track.

Lotus have most definately taken a step forward with this baby!

I took one for a test drive. It was good fun but it did not wow me

Had a good blast with the salesman think I'm then I tried to get out of the car. looked like a tw@t getting out

After a test drive I kind of did a runner without signing the paper work to say I was over 25 (not at the time) and I'll re responsable for any speeding tickets

Interesting - I was looking to drive and get a drive of one if I can. What didn't impress. Was it just the car in general? Performance? Torque? Ride quality? Lack of interior?

Lol - always been difficult getting into and out of a lotus. Although that is the essence of a true sports car so long may it be preserved.

The 240R = 50 being made = production started in october = all sold by july = no test drives available.

I wanted one when I got he 400 but missed the boat

Normal exige still available though and based on the capabilities of my brothers elise i recon this must be a seriously good piece of kit. If i didnt have the evo i think i would go for an elise or exige - love em!!!
