I never realised there were two types of DC2 - only ever seen the square headlight version.
Wheels look cool on the RB320 too - do they colour match the orange logo?

loving the wheels on the RB really really stand out.
VTEC ftw!
i just got that engine fitted into my civic EM1 coupe but knocked a turbo on it. think you should boost it

the PCD is indeed wrong but i am keeping them for the winter months as just managed to get a couple of pirelli corsas for the front so have a good full set at the set up on the car is quite aggressive so eats the indide of the tyres and i was too lazy to swap them over.... not this time though!
the prodrives are repsol orange so a bit brighter than the logos but not much although the logos on the seats are a more reddy colour.
still a ton of stuff to get for the teg... going to spend as much as i paid for the car but hopefully it will be worth it

and did think about turboing/ supercharging but as yet just going to keep away from it until i get a few events/trackdays under my belt to see if anything else needs to be done. sorting out a cage is soooo much more hassle that i thought it would be

think with the DC2 engine just got to be careful with the compression but easily done. good for 300bhp on standard internals but should be good fun.

Great update on the project, seems like you have been busy
Out of interest, what is with the obsession of stripping everything out of a car for a track car?
Obviously it saved a bit of weight but is that saving worth the gains that you get from it?
The car must surely be a lot louder, less comfy and have next to no creature comforts that may be useful when driving to and from the track... unless you get a trailer.
Just curious on your thoughts

the lighter the car the less BHP that is required to achieve the same acceleration.........
cheap way of gaining "track speed"

It is not going to be road legal and if all goes to plan it will be getting trailered to the track so i was trying to get it as light as possible and i think i can get another 80-100kg off her to get the power to weight as high as possible.
But she is fecking loud.... but sounds amazing at a kick in the arse off 9000rpm. with a bit of modification they can be lifted to 11000rpm.
cant wait for the spring
