Postby robwils » Wed Jul 22, 2009 9:30 pm

OK guys remember I said no laughing :P :P
This will be my car for next few years until son gets to school age and frees up some cash.
Getting JCW kit fitted in next few weeks.
Car OK so far, pretty good on petrol 40+mpg and quite nippy.

Cool nippy little cars although theres not a right lot of room in the back or for shopping... its more like a coupe / roadster than a 4 seater that it claims to be... i bet with the mods it will be rather rapid.. :)

Cooper S works, drop the rear seats and you get a lovely "wurble" from the zorst. My wife had one of the first Cooper S works back on a 53 plate (iirc) and I loved it. I enjoyed driving it more than the Focus RS. Great fun car that puts a grin on your face.

Cheers guys,

I'm starting to like it a lot, (still miss the 1 though).

First mod delivered yesterday (JCW strut brace).

Had a blast in it on Friday on a twisty A road, good handling and really fun to drive - hoping to get a better noise when JCW kit gets fitted.
