I raced one of these the other day and very nearly kept up, probably top end it would have pulled away more. I wasn't impressed with it's straight line speed and expected a totally different result, as did the driver who gave a wave of respect at the end.

However, I have NEVER seen anything that looks or sounds better in my life! 8)

A scuderia is a quick car - i remeber top gear got a sub 12s 1/4 mile time out of it :shock: but its built for track work so a straight line dragg race is completely and utterly pointless tbh.

Bit of a price difference between those 2 cars too aint there ??

Agreed, it was totally pointless, however I got the hear it one full chat for nearly 10mins, so it was worth it just for that alone. I dont doubt it would kill most things on a track, there was one at Spa going VERY well when we were there last year! 8)

No idea what they cost tbh!

He probably didnt know how to drive it Dan, however the csl is a serious bit of kit and not that far away from it!!

Yes, but you'd get your arse handed to you by a scuderia :oops:

And tbh the 355 was never really that fast anyway - well known that they overhyped the bhp figure on that model - indeed an overrated example, does look 8) though.
