pmsl, wr1's are quick off the mark but they arent M5 quick, and I can tell you guys that I have been round some corners in the WR1 at 80mph, and doing the same in the M5 takes balls of steel, just aswell mine are

I have also done comparison tests on one particular part of my private circuit, you basically take a sweeping moderate right onto a roundabout exiting moderate left, serious acceleration into a moderate right accelerating through it, and on the exit marker to that corner I have measured many many cars !!

Its a test of Braking,Nerve, Cornering and pure Power.

Including my seriously sorted Evo IV RS running autronics and 360 + bhp, it only exited at 87mph....... CSL 91mph, my wr1 was 85mph..... my 350bhp sti 5 was 85mph....... my 400bhp short wheel base Manual 300ZX twin turbo did it in 94mph, the M5 does it with an exit speed of 101mph these are GPS times, all timed on the same GPS.

These are only the cars worth mentioning, many other cars ive had, evo's escort cossie's, RS6 numerous M3's, old M5, merc's have not been worth noting down.

sounds like a pretty easy strip..moderate left, moderate right....

sure it isn't just a straight road, slightly twisted by the whiskey?

lets be fair here...on tarmac any 4wd is losing a lot of go...do the same run again on wet/gravel/snow and see what happens?

even the S2000 cars are pretty much on the same pace as WRC cars on tarmac rallies...put them on the loose stuff however and its a different story.

Not sure about the others, but I bought mine to be fun on the loose not to be a tarmac drag queen.

No this is ideal territory for an evo or a scooby chaps, the last right hander is a sharpish one throwing you off camber.
