Simple question: you got 35K to spend.

The extreme Sagaris or more 'sensible', but less good looking M12 GTO-R?

Sagaris for sure...looks and noise, pure TVR.

Looks like it has been attacked with an axe, but with the updated Speed 6 engine and the fantastic interior...no question for me.

Sure I might be backwards in a hedge after a few miles, but what a few miles it would of been!!

The only worry with a TVR to own one, would be that TVR does not exist as a company anymore, so spare parts might be an issue. It does look sensational though.

yep, was going to go for the Tuscan R before buying the WR1 but servicing the thing up here put me off buying one.

would be a DIY thing for sure everytime.

too many trees to hit up here and in the snow it would be a death trap...plus the GRP body work would probably be too brittle at silly temperatures.

True. It would never be something you'd consider in Finland.

Even a Porsche or so is hugely impractical. That's why i always ran a scoob or an Evo there.

if it goes bang yeah...which it probably will eventually with the Tuscan I was looking at...but if any engine goes bang it is pretty expensive.

but the later models with updated Speed 6 specs were pretty good. Well by TVR standards anyway.

I think the Tuscan was the attempt TVR had at their first engine...maybe Cerbera but I am sure they had Rovers V8 too

The guy in Coventry has a great place and has picked up a lot of the stuff from TVR factory including a special paint booth for GRP...prices are pretty good too.

I wouldn't say there are over expensive for the car it is, but out here you are on your own if anything does happen. At least with a Subaru/Evo you have a lot of expert 'farmers' to help out.

That would be a consideration.

Assuming a Noble should be way more reliable being half a Mondeo.

Did Spikey not always want one of those ? :mrgreen:

All I know is they are EXPENSIVE. I have seen more broken down on the side of the road than I have moving on the road. seriously. also looked at some for sale ads. When i see 30k on the clock, just had a service and some work done at a cost of £8k, I move swiftly on!

Spend 7-8k on a 6.0l chevvy crate engine, new gearbox and away you go 8)

Out of the two I would go for a Noble for handling but I would always doubt my choice when I heard the TVR go by......

Mind you Noble are not exactly a stable company, there seems to be a lot of doubts whether or not they will actually make real numbers of the M600. Lee Noble himself has quite literally vanished without trace as far as I have heard leaving allegedly substantial debts in his wake......
