Nice job mate!! How do you rate the WR1 to the AM's you drive in terms of performance and handling (I know they service different markets but purely on a performance basis...)?

I have been very fortunate to have driven most modern day performance cars including the new gtr and yes biggman the m5 goes well, but for the money a wr1 is still a very car.

The current aston flagship is the dbs it has 510 bhp compared to 320 bhp of the the wr1,but in driving terms the wr1 puts the horses down through 4 wheel drive against the rear wheels of the dbs so obviously they handle differently.Make no mistake the dbs is a rapid car but it would not lose a wr1

What's your opinion of Range Rovers and RS4s db9?

PostPosted: Fri Jun 05, 2009 10:10 am

Range rovers are ok the sport is a nice model maybe too nice to go off road,rs4s are a great driving car and have really started to come down the money. The db9 again a good driving car with good performance and great looks but full service history required, they are expensive to run but all super cars are.

Cheeky Biatch, I'm still in therapy!

DB9, In what capacity do you spend all day testing astons? I've only ever seen my WR1 on the carpark at work ;op
