Postby The Swede » Tue May 05, 2009 10:18 pm

I was actually wondering... given the prices at the moment...

Should I get this one for Mak?

Why not. If she isn't happy with her "package" already ready then you better put the cherry on the top for her. Maybe you could deliver it to her only wearing your G-string and shades?

You know these guys ?

In general, it is incredible though which bargains you can have on larger engined Mercs etc.

As we do not drive many miles with Mak's car, fuel consumption is not a priority and it does tempt you then to rather get a 53-plate Merc E500 for £11K instead of a 4-pot diesel.

A BMW 545i might also be cool, although don't know if they're actually 'cheap' yet.

dont know them directly. more as heard of them. quite a few friends of mine are traders in bradford so we hear of them and the people behind the cars. as from what i have heard of the cars i've been told dont ever buy from them. most of the cars have been tortured around the mcdonald car parks.
luxury german then your going down the right path. a 530d wouldnt be too bad. powerful at the same time

could also go for a A4 S line TDi Convertable top spec for around the price range. something new?

up to you and with your taste in cars sure you make the right decision

:toofunny:

You trying to sell Spike's car?

OK, if we want to stay friends, remember I HATE diesels and I think convertibles are utterly useless.

I also do not want to buy a new car for what is a cheap runabout my girlfriend uses only to go to the supermarket and I use when I need to go to the great towns of Bracknell or Reading :?

Hmmm... now you mention, the badge on the BMW is really the let-down. :?

Monaro is not suitable. It needs to be driveable for a woman with not too much driving experience and be reasonably fun for when I get in it.

If I'd get a Monaro, I could as well keep the Evo and let her drive that. Or get the real 'Monaro': the Lotus Carlton ;)

A scoob would be an option, but I'd probably find that a bit of a let-down after having had the Evo. It's like switching from full-fat milk back to semi-skimmed :?

Prob just keep the Lexus still and keep an eye out for what's around.

 How many cars did you already not have?

Or did I accidentally touch a sensitive string?

I'm just not fixed with one car. I like to change and keep looking around for something I like more.

If it's hadn't been that the car would have to be a bit reliable, I'd have bought a really old beemer or Merc instead of the Lexus.

Swede, oh Swede, why, ohy why would you be interested in an old car such as this? Surely you know the "sort of people" that drive these surely buying the new monaro variant would make you more manly?
