p.s, a standard M5 will only do a genuine 194mph. Obviously they read a bit higher as per most cars.

If an M5 does 194, it is not standard... Standard they are limited to 155mph.

Spoke to AMG on derestricting mine. Looks like they do it, but then 'restrict' it again at 200mph

top video - i wonder how the car feels and handles at that sort of speed. he is taking corners at 200ish which is just mental really. I think I will leave those kind of speeds for the race tracks :)... having said that i doubt a volvo T5 would be able to catch up by the time its spotted you doing 200+...

Swede !!

All you need to do is select "M drivers pack" when you order your M5 and that delete's the limiter.

I can tell you it feels amazing at 165+ mate, stable as you like and you can still alter course fairly easy, I've had mine out on an airfield locally.

I must admit i thought the scooby was going to undress itself when it got to 140ish when i was at bruntingthorpe last year. The rear wing vibrates like crazy, the air scoop and bonnett appear to flex etc...

You got that out of a standard WR1 on 3/4 the airstrip straight?
