And now want a bit more power.

Then you need to sack the german barge and get some "Thunder from Downunder"

Shows you how things move on - 4 years ago i paid that for 400hp, now you get nearer 600 - NICE!!

Saw this the other day, looks 8) 8) 8)

Especially like the sound of the exhaust, 102dba in 'Optimum' mode 8) 8) 8)

It's still a vauxhall though

The one and probably only thing that the M5 lacks is an exhaust note that shows off the V10......that may get rectified soon though

The BM is down on power a bit compaired with the vauxhall though  (and miles behind in terms of torque!!)

What it loses out on in power it makes up for in sheer class, looks, refinement and toys.....

And there's me thinking it's supposed to be the "ultimate driving machine"

Anyway, whatever, 8) monaro, just need to find £45k now

True. More a competitor for the Evo or Scoob though than for an M5 or big AMG.

It is much more raw as a car. Cannot imagine driving quickly to Prague overnight with that and getting out of the car as fresh as I went in.

So good as second car sure.

I think your spot on - with the evos and scoobs quickly lossing their status as the must have performance bargain i think these, plus the falcon which ford are hinting at selling over here shortly, will be the next big thing - i love em :D

In the UK, I would also not go again for 4WD performance car by all means.
There are many cool 'toys' around, and this one is really great.

I personally would maybe not go for it as I already get the 'big V8'-fun with the Merc, but go for something like a small sportscar.

If you drive a normal saloon at home however, this is really the beast.

Yesterday evening, when we took the Evo from Oulu airport, I actually told my girlfriend that normally, when I arrived in Finland, I was always amazed buy the power of the Evo.
This was the first time I drove it after the AMG and although it is fast, you really wait for that big shove of torque you get with a large engine.
