Any Pug drivers on here?

Postby JP » Sat Nov 01, 2008 6:29 pm

Am considering getting a cheap second hand car for my daily work commute which is around 105 miles a day  ....been fun driving the "1" around for 3 weeks but not good for mileage terms. Besides the petrol cost is beginning to be silly

What are Pugs like? Are they reliable and economical? Anything which gives over 35 mpg would be great!

Or does anyone recommend other cheap economical cars?

i wouldnt. got a pug 307 XSi... really nice 136bhp diesel full leathers.. but it has common faults like loss of power and its a bit... crap really.. french build.. depends on how much your spending aswell. if your spending around £3k id say get a golf GTTdi.. very nice cars.. if about £2k get a astra.. mine does 70 - 80 miles from £10 diesel so i cant complain

1. We got an area called "other marques"... Ever wondered what that is for ?

2. Can you specify your question ? "What are pug's f*cking like?", is about a question as stupid as asking whether a women f*cks well... :shake:
What are Subaru's like ? STi's a great but an 1986 1800 coupe doesn't quite cut it. :?

I can think of at least one Pug I'd swap my Evo (or any scoob) for any time...

There are a 2 for sale in Switzerland. One of them has 360bhp, which is enough for 900kg

There is a standard one in Monaco for sale with 30K kms for 55000 Euros. Then there is a 305bhp version in Geneve with 30K kms for 85000 Euros.

Given teh easy of tuning these, I'd keep the 30000 Euros for some fun mods ;)
