James Bond...

Somebody told me today Brosnan has been replaced for the next Bond film.
Has his successor been named yet?
If not, who should it be?

I thought he said ages ago that he wasn't doing any more Bond films.

I heard that Jude Law has been put forward.

Recently he said he'd do 1 more.
Obviously the producers thought "No you won't!"

Please not Jude Law....
Colin Farrell?

Clive Owen without a doubt. He played a really good part in The Bourne Identity as well as other things. Not too good looking and quite rugged with the similar dry humour of Sean Connery.

Clive would be a good choice but I think he needs a higher profile in America first before he could/should be considered but his time will come.

In a radio interview Brosnan said he recommended Colin Farrell and some1 else for the role.

I think Colin Farrell would be good to bring Bond up to date, not so slick, a bit more rough and ready but I think he looks a little young still. Maybe as the next, next James Bond.

I can't understand why they didn't use Brosnan again, he has been good for the franchise.
