I have to disagree with Brian bigtime when he says 5th gear is better than TG.

Sorry Jacee mate.

Top Gear is a load of ole rubbish.

ITs nothing about testing the cars for everyday use anymore, Its all about veiwing figures.

To do a Comparison between three cars on a BEACH is just stupid.

Its all Comedy a joke a minute is what its all out, i only watch it because of its comedy factor.

What about Jezza in the Porka in the Womans driving position.. truely funny is fally off my stool with laughter !!!

Its all about making people laugh. THats why its now Rubbish.

5th Gear all the way at least they test cars and dont rag em round the beach and say ! Wey Hey this ones is great !

Brian me thinks you are still smarting about the EVO Vs WR1 episode!! :wink: :lol: :lol:

I will admit to nearly kicking my tv in when they said the WR wasn't much better than the STI PPP and the Evo was better than both. I hate to see Imprezas lose!!

to be honest i missed that episode :(

i was camping in the outback at the time and had no tv :(

Top Gear is just in a different world... Its not for real is it ?

top gear used to be about affordable cars :roll:

now its all way over the top etc...... when was the last time they mentioned the cheap deals for small run arounds etc???? long time ago altho as i havent watched it that much maybe i have missed it.

its no longer the peoples programme but how they can thrash the MOST expensive cars around...

New episode of 5th Gear on Tonight..
Lets compare shall we ;)

8.30 .. Lets Chat ...

Just spotted a bit of the last series on the Hard Drive of the ole (daddys) Pace

It showed the ole Gal .. VB ;) going with the Gold Auto 1.9 Derv with Nitros !!! What a great episode..

all the way back in april :)

Top Gear IMHO is now all about the ratings ... they offer no real information.

The WR1 vrs EVO was the ending of my viewing rating for this show. The stig had no idea how to control the car and they were saying things like .. this car is rubbish etc etc etc. No full road test - just a mitsubishi test driver ragging it around a track.

5th gear give a un-biased opinion and don't waste everybodies time doing stupid tests. That's why they get my vote ... especially after the Lambo vrs 999 test.

he would have gone from one extreme to the other tho....

stig with the diff right forward, gangsta's switch would have been seen through the rear window. :D:D
