It'll be worth the wait though. Well then you'll have to have it fitted.

I knew I shouldn't have gone to Comet.
Bloody battery doesn't work, not very wireless when I have to have it plugged into the mains.

Rang them up, bearing in mind I've had it 2 days, "I'm sorry sir, you'll have to ring HP"
Not much good to me when they're only open Monday to Friday you tit.
Ah well, I will buy on impulse!

Tell them that you're bringing it back to the store for a full refund as it doesn't work or a new battery from one of the other ones they hold it stock. That'll get it sorted.

Bit of an update! (bit long winded!!)

I spent several hours trying to get through to Hewlett Packard's customer service, given the run around and several different numbers later I get to speak to a technician. He decides I need a new unit and gives me a returns number to give to Comet. I ring Comet and tell them it took me hours to get through to HP and then they say "sorry sir, you should have come in-store with it,we would have sorted it for you" Errrr..... Why didn't you say that yesterday????? Anyway, they don't have another unit in stock at the moment but they're getting a delivery tomorrow. Ok I say, I'll call you tomorrow and see what you've got.

30 minutes later the phone rings, it's the store manager from Comet!
"I'm very sorry you're having trouble with the laptop, what can we do to help?" Errrrrr........Get me another one?!
The guy then offers to discount another laptop by a different manufacturer for me or ring round the other stores and find me one the same as I've already got. If they've got one, he'll go and pick it up tomorrow on his day off. :D
He's also going to look on the internet and find which other manufacturers do models to the same spec as mine and do a comparison for me.

So all in all a massive thumbs up to Comet for customer service!!

Which would be great if I knew what they all did!!!
