It's not the best as far as theories go but.....

Adrian Mutu, Chelsea FC and the russian mafia.

It's common knowledge that chelsea wanted rid of the player, they overpaid for him and he's not producing.
Roman Abramhovic must be well ''connected'' and the best reason to sack a player is if they fail a drugs test ala Mark Bosnich also a Chelsea player.

A quick word in someone's ear and I'm sure a test could be made positive.
