Went to collect one our hire cars today from Bristol. Some helpful soul had poured a whole bucket of wall tile adhesive all over the car, which has now set like concrete. Charming people about eh. At least it was on the customers own insurance and not ours.

I don't know to be honest. I'm guessing it will have to be resprayed. It's on the roof, back door, boot, 1/4 panel and bumper. The car is a silver 55 plate Skoda Octavia, which before anyone says anything, drives exceptionally well despite the badge. Perhaps we can get someone in on YTS and chip it off with a toffee hammer.

It's a diesel as well. 236 ft lb of torque and a 6 speed box. I overtook a lad in a Nissan Sunny GTiR (or whatever they're called). He was suprised to say the least when I then carried on past an indicated 125mph and even flashed his lights as I turnt off in recognition.

Would you believe it, the "customer" is now refusing to accept responsibilty for the damage as he's saying when he finished with it at 7pm last night, it was ok.
