Halloween and cars

Postby Robocop » Tue Nov 01, 2005 4:01 pm

Went to collect one our hire cars today from Bristol. Some helpful soul had poured a whole bucket of wall tile adhesive all over the car, which has now set like concrete. :(

Charming people about eh. At least it was on the customers own insurance and not ours.

I don't know to be honest. I'm guessing it will have to be resprayed. It's on the roof, back door, boot, 1/4 panel and bumper. :(
The car is a silver 55 plate Skoda Octavia, which before anyone says anything, drives exceptionally well despite the badge. :)

Perhaps we can get someone in on YTS and chip it off with a toffee hammer. :)

It's a diesel as well. 236 ft lb of torque and a 6 speed box.
I overtook a lad in a Nissan Sunny GTiR (or whatever they're called). He was suprised to say the least when I then carried on past an indicated 125mph and even flashed his lights as I turnt off in recognition. :)

Would you believe it, the "customer" is now refusing to accept responsibilty for the damage as he's saying when he finished with it at 7pm last night, it was ok. :dickhead:
