Scary morning...

Postby The Swede » Wed Oct 26, 2005 10:10 am

And it doesn't wanna stop :bang:

Scoob got back in one piece. Traction is OK as you can look for the parts of the road that have some grip.
It's just that under braking, a 4WD is just... another car with cr@p tyres !

Not being able to brake while that supertruck was just waiting at the trafficlights and then sliding sideways next to it, just too 3 years off my life expectancy. :?

I am jealous of anywhere that you get to drive a skiddoo to work. I remember what I was like on my JetSki ... need to emigrate to Scandinavia I think.

Hey baby, check out my Turbo Charged Skiddoo. Oh Ya Mr Gangsta!

Glad to hear you got home safely matey.

I have the bloody things sitting in the garage !

They had promised the snow would only be two days...

Snowchains won't work, Brian. Ever seen how much clearance there is between the tyre and the shockabsorber ?
Plus they would be of no help. They provide traction in deep snow. For grip on ice you need gimprubber.

It's still said to be +5 this weekend, so I wanna keep the scoob on summertyres until the Prodive springs are on.

We'll move to studs afterwards.

I wanna see Gangsta here once with his WR1...

I would be having such a laugh!! Surrounded by blonde women sipping ice cold vodka!!

Then trying to set the record for sideways driving ... tell me you can buy chrome bits for the skiddoos and I'm there!

Here's a nice comparison. The right tyre print is mine. The left hand one if the neighbour's.

You can see why even with the most fantastic 4WD machine, you're hopeless against a 15 year old Fiesta on the right rubber.

Spot on ! :thumb: That's all what living in Finland is like. :woohoo:

Although to set the record for sideways driving, I think smurf will have to practice still for a few years.
It all ain't as easy as Gronholm and Makinen make it look in Sweden and you got a bit of competition.

You should have seen the bloke this morning doing a perfectly controlled 90 degree turn sideways... with a 13t lorry ! :cuckoo:
