After being on the rolling road, was told the neutral switch was faulty,
Has any one else had this problem ? And where is it located ? Any advice would be marvellous

Neutral position faulty switch? After being on the rolling road, was told the neutral switch was faulty,

Re: Neutral position faulty switch? It's quite a common thing to wear out. I've not had to do mine but what i gather from reading about folk needing to replace it is that its a plastic piece (thats why it wears out) situated on the top of the gearbox, it has to be replaced from under the car and can be akward to reach. The likes of Alyn (ASP) has the knowledge and will be able to give you the full answer and how to replace it.
Re: Neutral position faulty switch?Yep mines been done
Re: Neutral position faulty switch? So what are the symptoms of a faulty NPS?.
Re: Neutral position faulty switch?Unfortunately I couldn't tell you because it was done a few weeks before I brought my car! Have receipt from Autotecnica that it was done
Re: Neutral position faulty switch? To be honest I wouldn't have known it was at fault, I've read it can effect performance, boost problems etc.
But advised it needs replacing. So will do for peace of mind Cheers guys.
Re: Neutral position faulty switch? Not an expensive job
Re: Neutral position faulty switch?apparently restricts boost as it thinks car is in neutral.
