Exhaust blowing advice

Postby Wr1darcy » Wed Apr 01, 2015 7:27 pm

Hello all, I have just fitted full exhaust system, I don't think I can tighten the nuts any more with out snapping them, it has new gaskets, but it's still blowing with water dripping a little. It's being re-mapped in a couple of weeks, will this effect it, not getting full potential ? Any input appreciated :)

Which joint is leaking ?

If it is the one with the donut shaped casket I had a similar problem.

I bought a genuine Subaru casket (donut thingy) and it cured the problem straight away.

It doesn't have the doughnut gasket just a flat one, there is 2 joints, just read about using paste ? Then read it's crap and cracks, or silicon ? As it has flex ?
Just thought as its a nice new system I didn't really want to smear paste all over it! But if I have to :?
