Oh, that's a shock, I saw his car for sale but had no idea why. I met him by chance at Castle Combe rally day one year and we had long chat about his T20 and the WR1 and all things Subaru etc, etc. Many condolences to his family.

Very sad news, he used to be a good contributor to the wr1oc. Our thoughts go out to his family who must be going through hell right now.

Just a little story regarding Robocops Spec C that was sold a few weeks before he left us......

Most of us know about Kev ( Robocop ) losing his battle and how sad its been for everyone.
But here is a nice story about his Spec C and its new owner.......
After buying the car ,the new owner became aware of the reason it was being sold,he then said to Kev,keep the car for as long as you can and then I'll have it,this was after he paid for it by the way.
To the new owner from all of us ....Thanks mate your a star, enjoy the car as Kev did.

This was taken from my post on Scoobynet, and it just goes to show you that there are some good folks out there.

Here is Kev doing his cleaning at one of the shows.

Just like to say I attended Robocops funeral on thursday, along with several other WRC anoraks who all met due through over the last decade or so, to the
enthusiasm they had for SWRT and the WRC.
It was a lovely service which brought some laughter & tears among us with the R80COP fixed to his coffin, along with Typr R Petes reminiscence
of who he was and what he loved and enjoyed.

He was a character that was unique to his own !

RIP Kev !!

Very sad news.

I know this is far too late (sorry) and tbh I dont really post on threads with news like this but I met Robocop at Bruntingthorpe many years ago and just took and instant like to him. Tremendous fella, we chatted for ages.

RIP Kev, RIP.
