Rate my car advert...

Postby John Mc » Tue Mar 26, 2013 11:21 am

Is this a model example of how to sell your car?

For Sale:

VW Golf. Dark Grey/bluey kind of colour.
Age = 2008 (I think)
Fuel = Yes.
Tax = Yes, not sure how long left though.
Tyres = 4 on the car.
Mileage = 50-60k (might be 70k)
Stolen/recovered? = Do a check yourself, loads of websites around.
Previoius Owners = Possibly, I am not sure.
Price = a new one is £27k, mine isn't new (I think)

Picture of a golf, not mine:

Any questions, please ask. I think I've covered everything you'd need to know above.

Well it seems like it is a limited edition so I would say in the region of 10k with full service history :D

F*ck off, what's wrong with it? It's suitably vague.... some people expect too much :lol:

I was thinking more like £29,999 ovno. Seeing as it hasn't got a full service history, I'll look to knock £10 off the asking price :suss:

Just a few questions: I completed an HPI check and it is coming back as Cat Z recorded and has outstanding finance on it. On the MOT history check there were a few mileage discrepancies 2010 the Odometer read 15,000,000 whilst in the Feb 2013 MOT it was reading 6,327. I'm not worried about the 14 prior owners but what does concern me is that I put the details in WEBUYANYCARANDRIPYOUOFFYOUMUPPET.COM and they returned a value of £7.24 (subject to it never having been driven, a full stamped service book, full tank of juice, no bird excrement on the bodywork or brake dust on wheels). The car is not for me it's for my mother who is based in Cyprus. She is an OAP and hard of hearing so she has left it to me to do the transaction. She says that she is willing to pay the full ask price if you would take an bankers draft from one of the national banks here in Cyprus (Yassou Your Pounds S.A) If the terms of this transaction are acceptable we will send a courier to collect the car with all the necessary paper work. Mummy and Me look forward to hearing from you soon. Please do not be put off by the IP address of this response being based from Africa. I'm just doing charity work for a couple of days but will be home to my Mummy soon.
