been around for many years, i remember when it had a metro engine in it.

Yep, this will be sadly missed.
The car he had before was even more of a unique creation - a hybrid Lancia with a Ferarri engine slammed in it. Although as I have spent a few years being a spanner man for Andy I can't say I will miss the unreliability of it. Forever having gearbox and exhaust issues. The engine is pretty highly strung and most thing are home made, so it isn't a suprise really. He really knows how to peddle and it is always up at the top against the current ex-WRC cars. The new car (only seen engine design though) has been on the drawing board for a few years, and as ever I am sure it will be quite special. Andy never does anything conventional - even his after event BBQ's are just awesome!
why do you have to shift thro the shit to find any truth in most PR blurb...........
the BTRDA hav not banned anything, think you'll find the MSA have brought in new regs and unfortunately Andy's is one of those that fall foul good news that there will be "another"......... ASPerformance
