Yes, and don't let them try and tell you otherwise!

Just what I was thinking.
I can't believe a Subaru main dealer would give warranty to cover things like the shockers when THEY KNOW that they're SHOCKING !!!!!
They would know, having driven it and looked to see if the originals were still on it that they WILL FAIL .

Do let us know how you get on.

Even though it a known design fault I think the warranty will cover it. We shall soon see.....

Well done, good result!!!! (The strut not being covered sounds a bit like bullsh*t as that is not down to fair wear and tear- but it's academic as you got it sorted).

struts should be replaced in pairs!!!! the warranty company changed one on the rb and after a bit of negotiations subaru changed the other one for free. (on the rears)
the front ones went early on in ownership but they were both gone so no issues with that.
got the new uprated ones now so hopefully no issues as so far none of them have failed on any rb.
i think that they are trying to stop you chasing for 2 by the "not covered shite" as with the subaru warranty it is most definetly covered!!!

Hightower are the shocks a problem on the RB aswell? would have thought they would have sorted that out and learnt from the mistakes of the past!

From other stories I have heard and from speaking to the Subaru garage recently this particular gremlin still continues with the RB320.
