What is wrong with me!

Yesterday I cleaned inside and out WR1 Wife's car and my car. This morning I couldn't sleep. Got up at 6am, wash the wifes car again and detailed the black plastic bits. I hate when I can't sleep!

I must admit that in my younger days (that was before I got married...), I occasionally took about every bit off my car that could be removed easily to clean the thing better.

Drove my dad up the wall though when he walked into the garage, saw a half disassembled Merc and was tripping over seats, light clusters and other bits and pieces for 3 days.

Wasn't me, although I don't think the Citroen BX ranked much higher on the "coolest car" list... (it was a GTi though. 950kg and 126bhp )

Most of the people at uni' were laughing at my "old men's car". But none of their Golfs, Civics or other could fly over speedbumps as fast as I could !

As it was white, I needed a lot of cleaning to look half decent. But I got the bug and proceeded to clean my second car with as much care... It didn't rank much higher on the "young people's" list either: a (white) Merc 300D (staggering 113 diesel horses !)(6 cilinders though... plus a towbar ).
