Gents,

I am assuming the wiring on the 1 is similar if not teh same as a hawkeye.

I have a green 2 part electrical plug/connection that is not connected together.

One end has a brown wire the other end has a blue/black wire - i am assuming its something ot do with a radio?

Everything works ok so Im unsure wether to plug it in and see what happens!!

Any ideas?

Spike, never assume mate, coz it makes an "ASS out of U and ME" Car electrics, in my humble opinion are a black art and should be left to the guys with the tech stuff.........multimeters and laptops, ya cant see smell or hear electrons and they keep you guessing. Oh hell I need to keep up with the times.

Hope you get an answer to your problem. :)

A bit of a long shot but if your check engine light comes on aren't these the plugs you put together which then flash the error code up for diagnosis?

They are ment to be separate Spike. Its to do with diagnostics.

Crockel that only works on classics where there is also a black set of plugs, pluging green and black together causes alarm light to flash in a sequence that gives out fault code, plugging in a different way allows for clearing cel light.
