yer i got a quote on a ford galaxy i had they offered £2300 i sold it for £4975 a week later

I done that out of interest a while back with the same results, surely nobody would be stupid enough to go for that.

They offer you 50% of the market value and then when you actually take it a dealer to "trade" they knock you down more by picking up any scratches, minor blemishes etc etc and try to get you lower. Robbing barstewards.

I see they buy cars all the time or claim to be !! They were in the paper the other day saying they bought an £100k plus Bentley surely that wasnt was it was worth?

I dont know anyone in their right mind that would use them!!

I actually know somone who sold a car to them, and as described above, the person accepted their offer over the net or phone whatever, then took the car to the pick up point where they knocked her down a couple hundred for scratches and other minor stuff !!

Much better selling to local dealers direct.

Breen, If you want to sell your WR1 I deal with two fairly local traders who would probably take yours.
