Blow Out

Well I had an eventful blow out on the way home last night doing a fair speed on the motorway. The cdiff had a bit of a fit and ended up strafing the car to get it to go straight...

Hopefully they can repair the tyre or change it although the wheel made an almighty bang when it hit the cats eyes. If the wheel is knackered too will need to find some new wheels for the car since i think theyve stopped making WR1 wheels now.. doh! :(

Anyone got any recommendations for new lightweight wheels that fit over AP Brakes if the wheel is ker-nackered?

:D

unlucky martin, i've got one wheel here but it will need a refurb as its kerbed and the wrong colour for wr1 wheels. let me know if your interested and i can probably get it refurbished for you.

Thanks for that Adam - will keep you posted when I find out tonight if the wheel is still usable.

Bro - you are right mate, i dont stand much chance after ordering the RCM bits without her consent

Thanks for the support Andy!!!
Although being AP brakes they will be harder to cut the lines being braided hoses :)

Good News!

Wheel is OK

Car is now with the dealership getting the RCM bits fit + giving it a service.

Bad News!

Tyre was shredded and needed replacing with a new one which the missus paid over the odds for in the end (£150 +VAT + Fitting)

Not very happy :blah:
