You can get laser jammers but these burn out after 12 months and you have no warning when they stop working so wouldnt advise using them. After a lot of research i found that taking your number plates off is something they cannot give you points for and is the safest thing to do to avoid the sneaky vans. that or dont speed.. lol as if...

personally i use a snooper syrius plus for static cameras which works a treat :)

Mega - I've got one, BTST Radar Detector - pretty good for fixed radar. Meant to be OK for laser but never really had it go off. It doesn't detect the road side vans.

Cheers

I have had a few radar detectors in the past and they do tell you which gatso is active and which isnt. Does yours do the same?
Radar isnt used by most of the police forces in the uk now, they tend to use laser guns.

Sadly if your laser alert ever goes off you have a fraction of a second before they get a reading so they were nicked named the 'ive been nicked detector'.

It is always such a cat and mouse game trying to beat the police.

I used to watch the news on jammers and detectors until I noticed many of them come from companies who build the speed detectors in the first place. I suspect they always keep the police just one step ahead of the detection gear to motivate upgrades.

Sometimes a dirty tag is the best defense... :D
Is National the best bet?

Why not try a Show n Go retractable number plate, although you still have to keep your wits about you but if you see the fuzz just retract your number plate and boost!
