Where abouts in Leicester are you? Will be there in a few days so can give you a few pointers if you fancy it.

Although it's pretty much a normal PPP STi with a lick of paint, fancy rims and Prodrive suspension. Just make sure you get all the documentation for the number it is. The tax disc holder should be numbered, the plaque on the front console by ashtray and the WR1 gearknob. If you are lucky it will come with the keyring too.

Only bits prone to failure are the rear struts. Everything else is normal wear and tear as per any other car.

If you get the build number first you can always search on here or ask about the number... you might find some information prior to buying.

It is helpful knowing the build number before you go to look at it. I typed in the build number of my car into here before I went and looked at it and knew pretty much it's whole history before I got there......including the pheasant it hit in 2006!
Previously:
Subaru Impreza WRX (P95 CJH)
Subaru Impreza WRX (DV52 LJZ)
Subaru Impreza WRX STI WR1#131(VE04 LUW)
Subaru Impreza STI Hawkeye Spec C (YD06 NGT)
Subaru Impreza 22B #377 (S22BHU)
Now:
Subaru Impreza STI Hawkeye Spec C Type RA
