Audi A3 1.4T Courtesy Car

Postby WR1 Bro » Mon May 10, 2010 8:43 am

New car, 250 miles on the clock and thankfully the kind man that dropped the car off at the front of the building warned me about how fast it is. LOL.

Loving the launch control.

Yes. Foot to the floor but it only gives you 4k revs!! Bit tame but still fun!

It was during my stint at Toyota F1...the main data and telemetry guy there used to take his company car round the ring all the time.

Trouble is they all had the private plates, so if anybody was spotted with that plate (i think it was AMS or something as TTE or Toyota F1 was originally Ove Andersson Motorsport) then they were in big trouble...

We were once 5 up in a Avensis Estate T4-D!! Tyres screaming all over the shop as well as the usual GT3's and bikes coming out of nowhere!

Another guy got the boot after somebody dobbed him in for having and 'home-made' inconel exhaust set up on his Mk1 Golf GTI track car...stupid idiot didn't bother to grind off the part numbers when it was originally thrown in the bin.
