Looking for a colour laser printer. It is required for a small office and I'm not wanting to pay more than £500. Bonus if you can print via Wifi too.

Any suggestions? Reliability is important.

Thanks in advance.

Does it have to be legally/ethically sought?

Is there a reason you want colour laser over colour inkjet?

You wont get photo quality pics out of a laserjet without paying a lotta money for the printer so that is worth bearing in mind... If you want a network laser colour printer then id recommend something like:

HP Color LaserJet CP2025n
takes 300 sheets at once
has a network port to put it on your LAN
600x600 dpi
20page per min speed

Currently costs £365 on PC World Business site.. Also bare in mind colour laserjets have toners for at least black/magenta/yellow/cyan. Each toner will cost around £100 to replace which is where most vendors make all their money via printer running costs.

PS If you need wifi plug its network cable into a wireless router/access point... :)

I have an Oki laser printer at home and Mega's right, the cartridges are expensive, mine are about £40 each but don't last long!! 2000 sheets max...

Are you planning on getting a photocopier for the office too?

Most colour laser photocopiers work out cheaper to use as colour printers. We for example have Canon copiers at work and pay 0.055p per black copy or print and 7p per colour print. The initial cost of the copier is high but the running costs are far less than buying a big colour laserjet and running that for 3yrs with the price of their toners.

Don't really need a photocopier. I assumed a laser printer would scan and copy?

A laser printer like the one i mentioned before will print out only. It sounds like you are looking for an MFD - Multi Functional Device... such as:

Does this help?

Yes that does help. They are a little more expensive than I expected.

Well you can always barter them down on price and im sure if you can cope with a slower speed, that the price drops... most manufacturers have one for 300-400 then one at 500-600...
