TFR......

there is a discussion going on, on another forum i use regarding TFR. Personally i wont the S**t but then that got me thinking.... why wont i touch it? i dont actually know. All i know is that i dont like the sound of using a acid based cleaner, which im led to belive it is.

so as there is a bit of knowledge on here regarding detailing i thought id ask rather then listen to a load of amateurs and bodgers... i thought id ask you lot.

TFR as in traffic film remover .If thats what you mean some come with wax .I have used it in the past on a classic uk turbo with cold water pressure washer makes a good job of the body work and alloys .I got some from a haulage contractor

I got some autoglym stuff in a 25 l drum .. was stong the stuff need 's to be diluted 8 to 1 .. becarefull on what you use it on .. and there is NO wax in my stuff ...

Yep, I avoid it like the Plague. There are 1 or 2 half decent TFR's if you can find them but a nice gentle citrus degreaser is far kinder to your paint and trim/rubbers etc. Far better to keep the paint and wheels etc protected then you dont need anything strong to clean them 8)
Going round corners just got a whole lot faster...
