Merry Christmas

Postby Chris B » Fri Dec 25, 2009 7:33 am

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families, another year nearly gone,so how has your last year been, good I hope, lets have a few words from everyone to say what they've been doing.....
We have been without the WR1 this year as its been up at Matts having the twisted turbo fitted, its all but finished now so we are looking forward to getting her back and enjoying the shows,Redline car magazine are waiting to do an article on R9SY B in January so keep an eye open for that.
On a more personal note Rosy has just come out of hospital having had a big operation, the dreaded big C,but things were caught very early and she is doing fine but she will be off work for 3 months or thereabouts,I need her fit and well as she is a top car valeter and I have to win a few more trophies this year. :D
Workwise its been ok,quite busy but probably like most people if your self employed a bit more is always good.
Family wise our third grandchild Connall was christened a few months back, and Seth who is now 2yrs old has turned out to be car mad I have to keep taking him up Matts to sit in the Gobstopper,so he will be joining us at the shows in the near future.
Well thats my little lot, your turn now have a great time over the christmas period and Rosy and me look forward to seeing you all next year.

Rosy will piss the big C mate. I have been affected (not personally) by it 3 times this year (mum (breast), dad (colon) and step-mum (breast)), all 3 of them have got through it, all this year...

You'll have the same joy this year mate.

All the best!

My year has been quite straight forward apart from my £13k purchase in July.

It all started quite well with the birth of my second daughter who nearly killed her mum! She got through it tough ol' boot that she is and we're now a 4-1 family of a 7½ month bubba girl and a 2½ year old toddler (who loves the WR1 a bit tooooooo much!), a WR1 and just me!

Planning on selling the gaff this year and getting somewhere bigger, although it may take a sale of a beloved possesion to raise a bit of collateral... heaven forbid the 206SW should go?!

Hopefully, I can get enough extra work this year to raise the cash to front a decent deposit without having to pimp the missus out?!

There's all my woes in one basket...

on the flipside, ate my birthweight in Crayfish, Scallops Crab-Claws and Langostines followed by a gorgeous Rib-Eye tonight, cooked by my very own hands, so all can't be bad!....

Happy new year to you all...
