This happen to a mate of mine on a bike track day in the south of france,
he caught a slower rider up just after the crest and ... yes boom threw him over the bar s for ages ....
bent the froks and brake dics right round just like they were putty He was ok but pissed off lol

Posted: Thu Nov 19, 2009 12:44 pmYeah but the ring is different as it is classed as a toll road, and not a track. So if it can be proved your were not racing then you are covered by normal insurance policies.
All kinds of vehicles go round the ring so a simple accident is not uncommon, but a monster smash like that is unlucky.
