Has egged my car I live at the end of a small dead end street/cul-de sac and I park my car opposite my house, someone has walked or driven to the end of the street and threw an egg from the front as it hit the roof just above the windscreen pillar and left shell and dried gunk over the r/h/f window and as far back as the spoiler.
I have my suspicions that it was some vw driving neds that live nearby.

I don't have the luxury of a driveway so I have spent tonight curtain twitching spying on my car to see if anybody goes near it. I just can't understand the mentality of the fecker, fair enough if it's kids being kids throwing eggs about but I think it's more than that.

Nope I'm the nice one that takes peoples bins in for them , stayed here 15 years without a problem until this. As I said earlier there's a ned mechanic type that does homers from his house, he has sometimes 3 or 4 cars of his parked in the street and drives like an idiot, I suspect him and his vw driving mates cause they know that I'm better than them and they are jealous.

I just gave my car a wash and you are so right!
There are two marks where eggs have impacted and went right through the paint causing lots of tiny deep scratches, just tried a quick polish out but it didn't work There is the one on the roof and the other on the r/h/f door handle Also noticed a dent on the bonnet that may or may not be related. Not been a good day!

Nope can't remember anything in particular? Suppose someone could get narked if I blasted by them and they saw the direction I went, maybe came looking in the dark? Nothing sticks in my mind though as I never race or break the speed limit.

Why not take the scoob over to the mechanic lad, explain what happened and as a guy in the know what would he do to sort it.
The last thing you need is fear when your car is parked.

Nah you have to see this ned he's a grade A trumpet. I wouldn't let him near my car. He seems to dable in old VWs and drives like a complete tool in built up areas.

It's a f*cking nightmare. You can always tell when a cars been egged due to the way the paint is marked. Sometimes if it hasnt broken the clear you can sand it back but very rarely is this the case. luckily the colour the WR1 is it hopefully wont be too noticeable this time round....

oh and for the dent - Give Martin at Dent Devils a call (07702 162962). He's bloody good (does all the dent removal for us at Polished Bliss and he took a couple out of mine) and cheap too - tell him I sent you!
