S/H car values rising

Postby WR 1mposter » Sat Sep 12, 2009 9:25 am

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8251920.stm

Was watching Quentin Wilson on bbc this morning, seem to be only in the trade at the moment, traders have a shortage of s/h cars so the prices have risen, example s/h Range Rover prices have gone up £3k+ since January in the forecourts, but private sales still seem to be low prices......until people see this.

Maybe WR1 prices will rise

Heard this on radio. My mate has just been offered trade in on Civ typeR with 70k on the clock 7500 he paid 8k for it from same garage 2 years ago and 20k miles.
Reason is the Civ is cheap to insure cheap to run and fast enough for most people.

I see it as a good thing.

Yer I know my Focus ST was worth 7k in January part exchange, we got 10,500 for it last month part exchange from the same garage. Craziness, glad we held on though :)
