There are 2 Bank Holidays in May cos the weather this weekend was crap.
There was about 4 hours of sunshine and I was asleep at the time.

In Cheshire on Fri/Sat the weather was glorious all day. Went to Southampton on Sunday and the weather was great there too. Had three BBQs over the weekend and a few crates of beer. Great fun!

We are now officially "sad old gits". We spent the bank holiday watching DVD's. My brother-in-law lent us the first series of "24" which we hadn't bothered to watch when it first came out, because we don't watch a lot of TV and try not to get involved in serials - all that fear of missing an episode and having to record things etc.
As there are 6 DVD's of around 4 hours each, we only meant to watch an hour or two at a time and ended up hooked. We started watching Sunday morning, picked it up again that night until 4 in the morning, and then watched the rest on Monday finishing at about 6.30 pm.
