if you have a tomtom, download there camera site download, £20 for a year, i have found this is the best i have found, also get some parking sensors front and back, for the camera vans and hand held laser devices

ive got a snooper syrius plus which was 90 one off payment for camera updates for life of the unit - does the job better than the pioneer sound system speed camera list which is about 6months out of date.

jammers are illegal so chances are you will get pulled up in front of the judge if your car is logged as jamming police guns more than 5 times across the country - they log it via the reg plate on some database apparently.. bastards!! ;)

Nope it does static cameras so gatso/truvello/speed curb/ etc etc... and "high risk zones"... but the police rarely use the same "high risk zone" more than once.

The camera vans all use lazer now so radar detectors are a waste of money. You can get laser detectors but a good one is a lot of money and still only tells you when you have been caught unless you are really lucky and your detector sees the laser sparkle bouncing off another car but given the size of the lazer dot the chances of this are slim.

This leaves lazer jammers which come in many shapes and forms like garage door openers / parking sensors / or just a plain jammer for the sake of it. These will error the police speed camera gun as it tries to read your car. Alarms will go off where you normally slam all on then the sysetm de-arms itself so the police get a reading the 2nd/3rd time they try and clock you. However as mentioned before any cars that error the speed guns still get their pics taken and it is logged on a national database. If you show up more than either 3 of 5 times i think it is, you get haulled to court anyway for stopping the police doing their job. Not many people win the battle of "My garage door system was accidentally turned on 5 times" or "My parking sensors were left on 5 times"... you normally get a fine, sometimes a few weeks in jail if really unlucky but above all ya insurance premiums rocket as a result of the code they stick on ya license.

A mate from uni works for road angel and filled me in on all the details. The aussies actually have some fighter jet spectrum analysers out there and electronic counter measures (ECM) systems that properly fook up the police guns which is just funny. They must be real speeders out there to go to that length... The spectrum analyser which mimicks the systems found in the F16 jet are here but arent cheap...

http://www.radars.com.au/radar_detectors/stinger-dsi-computer.php

cant remember the ECM system that blows the guns up as they also poped other things in the vicinity including stuff in your car as its to do with firing magnetic crap around the ariwaves i guess like a mini EMP system

My next door neighbour used to be the manager of Murgatroyds, nice fish and chips. I'm not bothered either tbh... as long as there is room to park and it's safe!!

Are you a strict muslim then?

I was engaged to a Turkish Muslim for 4 years and she wasn't that fussy (and that was living in Istanbul too!)... I never got her to try a bacon sarnie though

Some of muslim mates from London really don't care and they eat Bacon and Sausage all the time...
