In summary:
If you want a fast car for daily driving, get a Jag XFR (or a Merc S63), if you want a fun car, buy a sportscar, if you're a cock, buy an M5.
What about an FQ400?
How does it compare to your Audi?
TWAT! I think we all know I dont like the Audi so I wouldnt expect anyone else to either Crash bang wollop!!
No clue. Never found it necessary to spend 47K on a car when I can get the same one for 30K.
Cue Poesy...
Somedays the best...and somedays the worst...£47k ive ever spent
Like that new jag though, very car - get one of them spikey me old matey boy. There was an XKR in the GT3 race on sunday that looked and sounded awesome, think it finished near the front too
pmsl, the M5 is much better than that grandad machine

You never get this feeling??
Where's presa when I need him! Oh and I'm sure Dan will be on my side now

Dan won't be back for a while, he's bought an M you actually get for driving. I start to get you actually why you need such a manly car. It's to compensate !
pmsl, absolutley not mate, I am well in proportion and have a healthy sex life, some may say Alpha Male
Dan wont be able to resist stopping in some internet cafe to boast about the CSL as they are immense, infact they are nearly as immense as an M5. Previously: Everything With 4 Wheels over 300bhp

He'll be spending plenty of time in Internet Cafe's and other buildings everytime it rains.. I had an M3 and they were truly awful in anything other than dry... lots of torque but lacking ability to get it down properly, same as all the powerful M's.
The CSL is lighter and more powerful but you still don't get an improved traction package... Fine on a track when you can drift corners and get the tail out but on tight twisty lanes, not so much fun when you want tight control... hence they are only any good in a straight line (motorway cruisers) I bet Klaus must be nearly dead switching your traction on/off
No offence mate, but you are wrong! You get a dynamic traction and stability mode with the CSL, and it is effective, and it was a £60k motor for a reason, it is BRILLIANT, Dan will soon let you guys know that.
The CSL is right up there in my top ten best ever cars. Previously: Everything With 4 Wheels over 300bhp

I respect your opinion Bigman because you would kill me with a flick of the finger but I haven't driven a CSL so can't comment personally. The M3 was awful in anything other than dry though.
I still know what I'd rather be driving on a twisty road in any conditions
In all honnesty, the current M5 is the worst BMW I have ever driven. It's a heap of metal that goes fast in a straight line, has sh1te brakes and has about the most irritating (or childish) gearbox I've ever driven with. The auto position is slow and judders every time it changes gear and the 'manual' position would even bore my 8-year old. Who the fcuk wants to drive around clicking paddles all the time in what is supposed to be a fast and comfortable car?? Just get the bloody gearbox to do that itself (properly) or fit a proper manual with 5 or 6 gears. It's a car ! Not Gran Tourismo 3 ! It's simply way too heavy and clumsy to be a sportssaloon and it's useless at being a GT. A 535d M-Sport is more entertaining to drive. And it takes a lot to get a deiselhater like me making such statement.
Who said it was a GT car mate, not me, I think they M6 is more GT than the M5 which is sports saloon.
This is pointless discussing it with you and clearly the opinion of respected motoring journo's and those who have owned M5's is not enough for you, I feel your really just looking for an argument than a genuine discussion. Previously: Everything With 4 Wheels over 300bhp
