Years driving?

Postby Gee Wr1 » Tue Mar 31, 2009 11:43 pm

Well 17yrs ago today i passed my driving test :D

Easy to remember as it was April fools day  & it was before midday  I passed when i was 17 & on the 1st go then took to the highways in my 1l metro 8) :D

How many years everyone been driving now? How old were you when you passed & How many attempts did it take you to pass?

Forgot to answer this.

1. Legal age in Belgium is 17 years and 9 months. Which for me was on 11 May 1992. I passed my licence on 12 may 1992

2. Passed first time as well theory and practice exams.

Goodness. So you only have a few years left anymore where you will find a scoob exciting and afterwards it will be Merc E220 CDi auto all the way :(

How does it actually feel to be on your way back knowing you will never be as strong or fit anymore as you ever were ? :?

Yes the WR1 is starting to feel like a younger mans car, my slippers keep slipping on the alloy pedals! :D :D

As for not being as strong and fit, maybe you shouldn't judge everybody by your own standards !!!

I've been driving for 10 years

Passed first time, however someone did do a hit and run on me. The examiner checked the car was ok and still legal, which it was as was small bump and asked me to continue :o I was bit nervous then but still managed to pass :)

Passed when was 17.

doesn't feel that long ago, and I pretty much remember the whole 45 mins it took to complete the test route.

Past first time after 8 lessons a shade over 15 years ago....

Crikey....now I feel even older.

I'm no mathematician but 1998 + 19 years doesn't equal 2009 :?: :?
