Is this a return to biking or have you never ridden a bike?

Suggestion: If never ridden one get lightweight and bomb around to get the feel. Do a bit of off road and slide it around a lot to get your reflexes tuned up.

I understand the sense in a 600 as a first bike but other than the Daytona 675 they all look a bit crap! :?

A bike as much as a car has to "look the part"

After all my purple power ranger suit is just sooooo 8) the bike must be up to it....

I think for once Spike you should consider some sound advice. You could ride a 125 and still be faster than most since you are so skinny and your helmet will prevent your nose being an airbrake worthy of a F16.

though tthat was a recent pic mate,

Seems funny how scoobs/evos and bikes are interlinked...

Either after bikes comes a scoob or evo...or vice versa!

In what respect Bigman? Looks? performance? price?

Obviously you have ridden all the competition?

You do know that a Daytona 675 won the British supersport 600 championship last year by quite a handsome margin?

Bigman, i notice you diid not respond to this question. I suppose you may not have seen it.

If you are passing a newsagents in the next day or 2, MCN has a group road test of all the current 600cc class sports bikes. The Track test was in last weeks edition.

The same bike won both tests. It was not Japanese or Italian. Please haver a read and then have a think about your 'not even close' comment.

Feel free to post your thoughts below.

Mate, i have thought about it, i really have. Not to make any money as i would not charge anything over what i would pay. Simply because i feel sorry for you being as you are.

Nothing to do with what the fat oaf says or does not say, it's a bit risky and with jobs as they are now i cant risk it. Triumph keep the log book for a year so you can't sell, but lets it got nicked or heaven forbid you had a bad accident and the feds were involved i would loose my job.
