Nothing to do with what the fat oaf says or does not say, it's a bit risky and with jobs as they are now i cant risk it. Triumph keep the log book for a year so you can't sell, but lets it got nicked or heaven forbid you had a bad accident and the feds were involved i would loose my job.
Plan no 2 then...Im applying to "deepol" for a name change.....

Mark!
Only just spotted your post just now, as you know im all about performance so that was what I was meaning, ZX10/GSXR 1000, R1 etc for me, Ive been lucky as my Pal owns a large motorcycle shop, so I can take anything out when ever I feel like it, Ive always had sports bike's or hyper sports, busa's, blades, gsxr's heres a pic from 2002 both the blade and the gixxer thou were mine, but I sold the blade to my pal.
Some great times, but I have now sold all the bikes due to one of my dearest friends breaking his back and now having to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.,

Well if you are going to try and match up a 600cc class bike to a litre plus superbike in terms of outright speed then obviously it's not going to match up. In car terms it would be like pitting an M5 against an FQ400, the Beemer simply doesn't match up.
For a guy like spike who has just passed his test, a year or 2 on a 600 to get a bit of experience would be a safer bet than a blade/R1/ZX10/GSXr etc..

Know what yer sayin mark, work your way up is always best with the bikes
Mart, yes Binned the busa and it was the same as yours on an 01 plate aswell, my excuse was there was a patch of diesel exiting the fuel station, gave it a handful of throttle, back end spun clean away from me, thank GOD I had just put a brand new akropvic full titanium system on it and when you put that on it converts to just one side of the bike (right side) instead of those big heavy standard cans and pipes, so there was no damage other than screen and fairing on the left side of the bike, £800 sorted it.
The whole bike actually feels different and better with the weight of the standard system gone.
If I recall we put a PC3 on it and a K&N filter, and it ran 168bhp on the dyno, nothing compared to my ZX12 tho it ran 194.6bhp at the back wheel, a missile, but the busa is a better bike by far, much more grunt mid range, with the ZX12 your up and down the box all the time looking for the power band, whilst the busa is just roll on power even in 6th gear from low revs.
All that said, if you tried I Gsxr 1000 you would never look at a busa again, the turn in, the take off, the braking, the better suspension
