Worcesterball Run

Our Worcs Jap Perf Club hosted the BIG event of the year with 38 cars running a "Smokey & the Bandit" themed 250mile run around a preset route around Wales finishing with an after party in Worcester.

We had 3 sheriff cars (with deputies) running around, lurking like police camera cars !!!!! , coming up behind runners all to NAB drivers and each time they were nabbed it was one point deducted off their "Treasure Hunt" styled questions sheet.

I was one of the Sheriffs, decked out with gold star graphics.
A geat time had by all..........even by those who's navigators were a bit useless.
I think that EVO & MAC will be joining us next time !!!

Here's a couple of pics from the day....

Sounds good. We'll need dates once they're published as, knowing us, it will take a bit of time to mobilise forces. When are we likely to find out next year's calendar?

We won't know the dates for next year's run until all the National Show dates are all known. I'll leave that to Admin on www.wjpc.co.uk
Year One we had 33 cars. This was the 2nd year we ran it and had 38 cars and this year we didn't use local radio or push local TV for a mention which we had previously although there was mention of it in Banzai Mag and Revs Mag I think it was..............

We had 4 runners from South West Scoobies inc our very own BOB and "The Dragon"

Mick, the Worcesterball run is confrmed on our event calendar for next year, but there is a concern that it might clash with the dates for Spa. Do you have any further news on when the Run might be planned for?

That's great news, Mick! I'll get the events calendar amended and get the event registered on the site (just as a placeholder for now).

Really looking forward to this one :thumb: :thumb: 8) 8)
