I thought I'd put it back up as it's a really great video.

And as said before to pooster, the power seems to come on very early and with a big shove in your car.
Some more gentle accelerating (just on the limit when the boost comes on) and ensuring the wheels are straight (or even pointing slightly to te outside) should help.

i think this won't be possible, as the chap that's bought frasers car doesnt want any pics of it on track on view to the public, hence why I moved the other pics he posted from his other trip to spa...

It's a call that the new owner has to make. I have no predisposition either way, but he did ask whether the photos of ol' wr1te-off could be moved. I have no problem with that, but his requests need to be between himself and a moderator. I need to remain impartial on this one, I'm afraid.

If he is not, I agree with Spike. If you don't bother to contribute to the site, you sure cannot come and make your rules here. Especially if you didn't even own the car at that moment !

Other point: On the pics, you can recognise the numberplate, on the video, you cannot recognise numberplates of the cars on the track.

Nice to see the video online. David still has some in-car footage from the 'ring. I'll try to work out how we can provide it to the crowds...

But first, I'll perfect my other racing skills during next week, on the skiing slopes in Austria!

Real good, Dan!

I'll be leaving for a skiing holiday in a few hours, so I'm thrilled ;-)

And, I'll probably get a budget for a company car in a few weeks. But, it's got to be a diesel and have 5 doors. I might get the A3 sportsback quattro or the 120d to fit in the budget, so that wouldn't be bad for a first car, right?

Keep you fingers crossed for me ;-)

Just seen the film of SPA 06.....Can someone tell me who's is the WR1 with blacked out windows....white letters on the back quarters.....which has the mad sounding dump valve........Is this Wozza's??....Sounds abso NUTS!! :shock:

..... Ive worn out my rewind button!!

I want a dump valve now! :mrgreen:

zorst and dump valve are Aps ! the nuts me thinks too 3 1/2" and some of the noise also from the induction kit !
