Woza has all the best photos of the cars, but until he's around here's my random collection of nonsense from today's day out...

One for Torrekens... :D
Image

When we arrived the stands were busier than normal. Obviously Bernie had lowered the prices. If you look carefully you can all seven remaining members of the BRDC, turning up to vote for Damon Hill at their next election
Image

.... yawn... and here's the close battle for the lead..
Image

'It's a, it's a, it's a.... erm.. McLaren?.. Erm, no. Er...No! I know this! It's a Honda! Er.. I think. Erm.. nope, maybe not. Must be...er...look shut up, I can get this, right! OK, I'm thinking! I can get this, you know! Er....Oh! I know - it's that new mob... Snooper Puri! What d'you mean that's not their name? Oh, it's Super Aguri, is it? Well, I never.'

'Ahhh! I know! It's a Williams! You can just make out the wheelchair!' :D
Image

'Hah! Look at this sign above, lads. Anyone know what 'oxymoron' means?'
Image

It's a little-known fact that parts of the media centre are let out as tiny Japanese hotel rooms for the Super Aguri team. Look above the garage and you'll see that, despite the noise, one guest still has the curtains drawn
Image

Renault F1 employees become agitated when the queue for the burger bar becomes unexpectedly long at lunchtime...
Image

Woza tries to look at the car next to him with his fancy new binoculars...
Image

Damn! Why is it that every time I want to take a picture of a Citroen something else gets in the way?...
Image

Nice to see someone else join the party. Chatted to him before I left. Upgraded this. Upgraded that. Very European, and unfortunately didn't manage to upgrade his English in the process. Still, nice to have a friendly chat anyway. See! There's only animosity between the marques when you allow it :D
Image

...and in a packed car park a stranger turns up and parks next to us. A WR1 newbie! He didn't know about the site, so let's hope to see him on here soon :thumb:

top day, ears are still hurting  only downside was being stuck in a traffic jam on the m1, 3 hours to do 5 miles
the one in june will be fantastic, as all the teams will be there for the grand prix,
maybe splash out and go for one of the corporate days as a treat,

That looks like the 400 that was picked up same day as I got mine - mine is WX54 HVV. I remember it being a female who collected WX54 HVU. Please tell me she hasnt let WRC get their hands on it !!!

It was a male owner with a very odd European accent - I couldn't work out where he was from, but guess it was Germanic. He didn't go to WRC, instead he went to a place near Oxford (can't remember the name) and has done some mods. His accent was so strong that I couldn't make out what he was saying much of the time, but I know he has had new camshaft. :?

Phew, thats good news.

Sounds like the car may have changed hands now then.

Oxford hay, guess that would be Owen Developments - maybe he has gone for the upgrade kit = 511 bhp

That sounds like it could be right, m8. Seems to fit his words somehow, and he definitely said the word 'developments'
