Strictly members only. We held an Airfield Shoot Out on Sunday and after MAC and I had completed our statutary race............ I took on a Skyline R33GTR GTST. His passenger ran a mini vid on his phone and you'll soon see why the Skyline resorted to buggering around by the time we reached the cones at the far end for the first time as I was away from him in the first few hundred yards and he was GONE.... We line up in opposite lanes for second run and I built the revs, dropped the clutch fairly sharply and once again he appeared in my rear view mirror in a very short time.

You'll be interested to know that we had 5 WR1's inc jimbob, Evo3695, MAC-1 and Wayne WRX (also from Wales & West as well as here, who were invited to bring 12 cars by our site owner !) They ALL performed well and there's hundreds of photos on JPOC forum showing all the Jap motors including a very special guest-ONLY a new Nissan R35 GTR...........YEP ! He put in the quickest time of the day with a Tommy Mak Evo closely behind. It isn't a measured Qtr or anything so no point giving you times. EVO did put in a good time against MAC a year ago so it was MAC's turn to do the business this year. I'm SURE he will tell you ALL about THAT, probs adding a vid I wouldn't be surprised, anyway till then, here's the vid of me v skyline .

great video - what mods have you done to your car to get it that quick - skylines ive had a run in with havent been that slow so im assuming youve tweaked things?

Yep, I launched well from just under 4K revs...It flew !

Full RCMS system inc headers & cone filter. Decatted too. Remapped at Alan Jeffries to 358bhp. If you could have seen me take off against Mac-1 you'd have seen the same thing happening....just ask Mac...... where is he by the way.? Perhaps Evo will coment. He sat out to watch this run .

OH...... and NO CHANCE of getting another club there fellas. It's really a once a year, special permission, agreement with local residents type affair.
One of JPOC members works for the transport company that own/lease the stretch leading to the units. Without him, we'd have NO CHANCE.

What can I say that was a first class day had by all,nice to meet some new members Jimbob and Wayne and to say hello to the Mickster again.Must admit I do like that last photo when the farmer who rents the fields around the airfield came with his tanker to pick up all Mac's bull shit (I've got the fastest car here know what I mean. )
